Salt Candle

Salt Candle
Housewarming Gifts from the heart:

"Bread - So you never hunger.

Wine - so your life is always sweet.

Salt - So there is always spice in your life.

And a candle -. So you always have the light  "

The poem above was said to be of European or Russian, durable, and still widely known today. I recently went to a welcome party, bring bran, bread, raisins, a piece of granulated sea salt, and a bottle of Riesling. I forgotCandle, but luckily there were more than enough candles to celebrate a birthday as well as anyone.

Although my housewarming gifts were a hit (no doubt partly due to the fact that I was one of the few people that nothing has been resolved), I was able to help  's, but I think it could have more depth , are the gifts. After all, most new home owners have bread, wine, salt and candles in the traditional sense. I noticed that the way to preserve this great tradition, while the season with someCreativity is, for other things, bread, wine, salt, candles, or could be considered to find. This is what came out:

 Bread

As such a simple meal, it is worth to be really creative when you decide to bring the type of bread. Avoid a loaf of sourdough bread or French boring and go for something with flavor, like cinnamon raisin bread, banana bread, or one of my personal favorites, rye.
Other ideas that can be a creative, biscuits, Cornbread, or even breadPudding.

 Wine

I am not a wine connoisseur, but my suggestion for this is something that in his own party, is' the  r and can be consumed to bring. At the opening party I went to my bottle of Riesling a perfect substitute for the empty bottle on the table. It helps if you know what kind of wine to enjoy the host. If you still want to go a step further, you might even make a wine rack or cooler to help build the new house.

 Salt

This is as simple or as interesting as you want itbe. Go with the iodized salt, sea salt, garlic, salt, etc., if you want to be traditional. If you want to be the life of the party, bring the soy sauce or salt bath. Also, if you know that could use a small pet like a hamster take a licking salt / salt block for them. While you 're  to him, you might also have an aquarium for saltwater fish. It  's usually frowned upon to bring a pet as a housewarming gift, but hey, it ' s always ebay if you want  don 't
